also...still no baby!!! he doesn't want to come out. he is 3 days late and the dr. is giving him until monday before they induce him on tuesday. at least there is an end in sight. i just want to hold the lil guy and give him like a million kisses!
my sister sent me a text at 3:37 am. saying "calling me when you get this".
i hesitated for 45 minutes when i woke up, i felt like i needed to prep myself for something bad. its really hard not being with my family. and right now being 8 months pregnant i can't just jump on a plane, and thats the first thing i would want to do if anything happened to one of them.
i stole this from my sister: "I was driving near my mom's house today, so I decided to stop by her house b/c I was hungry. As soon as I stepped foot into the house, I could see my brother slumped over in a chair in his room. I walked over to him and he lifted his head. He was pale and looked like death...IT SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME. It took me 2 seconds to determine that he needed to go to the hospital.
My brother is only 16, but he's one of the most mature people you will ever come across. He never complains and is the "man of the house". The look of fear on his face and the pain in his eyes is something I will never forget. I rushed him to the nearest hospital and after 45 minutes of complaining, finally got him in the ER. 8 hours later the pain just kept getting worse. Long story short...there are some issues with blockage in his intestines and nothing they were doing was fixing the problem. 6 hours into it, they decide to give him morphine for the pain, but it does NOTHING. They were surprised that it didn't numb his pain and a bit confused. 8 hours of X-rays, lab work, enema, sonogram, you name it they did it...he couldn't bare the pain anymore. Nothing was working and the only option left was to knock him out...so that's what we did. The problem is not solved, but at least he's not in pain at the moment."
the doctor told my mother the pain he was in was similar to child birth. and it still hasn't gone away. it breaks my heart to think he is in so much pain that morphine did nothing, and they had to knock him out. all i want to be able to sit with him and tell him it will be ok. my parents are the work to be sick around. my mom turns into a comedian and my dad just tells you to man up. both do it out of worry, but still. my baby brother is in pain, and i'm not there. doesn't feel right.
and i hate thinking about how scared he probably was being home alone and not being able to reach my parents. i'm really thankful my sister mooches food off my parents and happened to show up.

ok so i finished hp. pretty intense and even though parts of it made me really sad....like crying like a 5 year old sad....i still thought it was brilliant....so if you want to talk about it with me.... you finally can.... amy i'm talking to you....i'm also bummed that i have no hp left to read...maybe i'll just go see this last movie again....
anyway i still stand my case that rowling is a brilliant writer. its true. she makes me happy.

my brother (saam) and his bff morgan have been hunting for jobs for the past week or so. they landed a second interview at the dominos down the street. they had to go take a drug test and some other "personality test" on their work habits or some bullshit (all this for makin' pizza's).
it turns out that saam is "too smart" for the position b/c he didnt get the job! they told him that he is "over qualified" and that he needs to get a job with "numbers"! hahaahaha!
he's not dumb enough to make a pizza????
it made me laugh really hard! he doesn't even want to work... but is doing it to make my mom happy.
if any rocket scientists or mathematicians are looking for a sidekick... give my brother a holla!
he really needs a "smart person" job! hahaha...
ps: he's really pissed! he keeps sayin' "how can you be over fucking qualified to make a pizza???"
the weather was amazing today. felt like a perfect seattle summer day. i've missed weather like this. mid 80's, really sunny and a cool breeze. i've been really into taking walks lately. took about a 4-5 mile one today. and after words rewarded myself with a cupcake. been eating really healthy as well lately however i cant get passed craving cupcakes. elmos eyes rubbed off on the box. i ate him and saved cookie monster for anton.
inspired me to look him up on myspace....AMAZING.....whats the deal with this kids hair....i cant get the theme song from mortal kombat out of my head after looking at his profile....and the ballet picture kills me.....
here are all the pics i've been promising. i need to get better about updating because there have so many great things that have been happening. adventures with anton, best friends visiting and trips to nyc. so besides work and random stresses that life will bring your way, there have been a lot of things to update about.
first things first.... i gave anton a hair cut.... scariest thing i've done in awhile.... i was so nervous i was going jack up his hair..... but i think i might have done a fair job.....
the morning of my birthday anton gave me this.... made my day....

A year ago today, around this same time, I was driving from Sandpoint to Seattle for the first time that Sanam and I would spend together. I remember it was the weekend of the last Champion show, and I was meeting her at a hotel I had never been to, so that we could spend the weekend getting to know one another face to face, and seeing if we would work together.
I still remember exactly how nervous and excited I was when I pulled into the city talking to her on the phone. And how I felt when I pulled into the parking lot of this hotel and saw her waiting there with some friends. It's strange to think that within only a year we have gone through so much. I've moved twice across the country to be with her; first in San Antonio, and now in Philly. I've gone through a lot financially, and am still recovering, but I haven't ever looked back and regretted a minute. Excuse me for sounding un-masculine, but every day that I wake up to our own home together with Sanam is a new perfect day. It doesn't matter how broke we are or how much time we are actually together; the fact that we have made it this far, to me, is perfect.)
so i went downtown today (all by myself!) and got anton a pair of jeans he has been wanting.
he is really hard to shop for since he needs a 34 length so i hope they fit. i also stopped by di burno bros ( dibruno.com ) and took my time sampling all sorts of cheeses and picked him out the yummiest one. yup we love cheese. and i'm really excited for tonight because we are going on a date to the devon horse show. this horse show is the largest in the world and i guess the best riders from all over come to it. i'm talking fries, hot dogs, funnel cake, cotton candy, rides, carnies, and horses! so stoked! i took my visual team on thursday and i'm taking anton tonight. there is a cottage area where vendors set up, and we (anthroplogie) own one and every year me turn it into a mini anthro. its so cute. apparel, home, and art installs just like a regular store. did i mention fresh lemonade and tea sandwiches! haha i just want to eat the entire time. the best part is that you can walk thru the stables and play with all horses. i have this fantasy about becoming a really good rider, so the horses are my favorite part. i have pics from thursday i will post.
ps...Bruce Springsteen daughter rides every year at this show... i want to badly to run into the boss!

he is the cutest lil guinea ever.... i couldnt get a better pic because he is scared of me.... every time i come around he runs and hides in his lil hut.... haha i want him to love me real bad.....i think he just needs to get comfy in his new home.....

nyc i have the hottest fiance in the world. i decided to play with this pic to make anton look all fancy. i heart him.
i love spending time with mr. rius away from daily stresses, work, and responsibility. nyc = holding hands, giggling, adventures, lots of yummy treats and jeff. it was a refreshing reminder of what really does matter. i love you.
just got back from nyc ..... have a ton to update ...... and i will do that soon .....
but for now i just wanted to say that Anton is the most amazing person i've ever met, i love him tons and he has made me the happiest girl in the world <3<3<3
